Pet GIFs for chats, stickers and profile pictures
A cropped photo works best: keep your pet's head near the top of the image and remove busy backgrounds if you can, because the motion moves the whole picture. A 128×128 GIF suits chat emoji, while 512×512 keeps more detail for sharing.
If you have several photos of the same moment, select them all and they play in filename order, so burst shots become a small flipbook.
Which template should you use?
Use the head pat for a gentle reaction, the petpet for the fast squash-and-stretch meme, and hand petting for a sideways stroke over the head. Each one has its own page with settings tuned for that effect.
These templates move your photo rather than redrawing it, so your pet looks exactly like the picture. If you want your cat to change expression, such as crying or waving, that needs the AI version.
FAQ
- Is it free?
- Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many GIFs you make, because all the work happens on your own device.
- Does my photo get uploaded?
- No. The GIF is drawn and encoded by your browser, so your image is never sent to our servers. If you accepted analytics, we only record that a GIF was made, not the image.
- What images can I use?
- JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF files up to 30 MB each. If you add a GIF, its first frame is used. A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result with the transparent option.
- Why is my GIF file large?
- Size and frame count drive file size. Choose 128×128 or 256×256 when a chat app has a file limit.
