DesktopCat custom cats are prepared and produced by our team. We personalize the appearance from your cat’s photos using the official cat Mochi’s movements and interaction template. Payment does not automatically generate a complete pet.
After payment, upload one or more cat photos in your account order, or email photos with your order number. If you already like a website concept sheet, select it for email approval.
We prepare a three-view sheet from your photos or review your selected version. Website sheets are previews for discussing the appearance, not final approval.
We email the specific version for review. Discuss any changes first, then reply with explicit agreement to start. Selecting, saving or paying does not authorize production.
After receiving your explicit email agreement, our team produces the approved version using Mochi’s movements and interactions. New actions and art-style changes are not included.
We manually upload the finished pack and deliver it by email. It also appears under My custom cats in your website account, where you can download the .desktopcat file and import it into DesktopCat.

No. The website can generate three-view previews, but our team prepares, produces and checks the complete character. We send an approval sheet by email and wait for your explicit agreement before producing the pack.

Yes. After payment, open your custom order in your website account and upload 1–5 photos of the same cat. Clear front, side and marking details are recommended. You can also email one or more photos with your order number. Crop out unrelated people and private details.
Yes. Email your original cat photos and order number to custom@desktopcat.com, describing the features you want to preserve. Our team will prepare a three-view sheet and email it for your approval. You do not need to generate a satisfactory preview yourself first.
No. Select your saved sheet in the corresponding order and submit it for email approval. We review and email that version. Selecting it on the website does not replace email agreement or start production.
Production begins after we receive your explicit email agreement to make the version attached to the approval email. You can request a full refund before that agreement. Ordinary refunds are unavailable after approval and production starts; duplicate charges, failure to deliver and legally required refunds remain covered by the terms.
Delivery is due within 72 hours of receiving your explicit production-approval email reply. You receive an importable .desktopcat character pack, not just a concept image. We deliver it by email and also display it for download under My custom cats in your website account.
Your account always includes My custom cats. It is empty when you have no active custom order. After purchase, you can view progress and download the finished pack when ready. Free concept previews are not displayed as delivered character packs.
Yes. Anonymous visitors get 1 successful preview. Registered accounts get 3 independent previews, or 5 total with an official cat pass. Each paid custom order includes 10 successful generations. Technical failures do not count. These allowances cover concept generation, not unlimited manual revisions.
